Reasonably priced place

Had a very good stay for our last night. Our room was bright and well-appointed with a kingsize bed.- Continental breakfast offered a good choice of dishes.- Having a roll-in shower, hair dryer, and bath sheets was a bonus.My stay at Mercure Avignon Gare TGV was reasonably priced and enjoyable. The location of this hotel near highly recommended, and the historical centre was perfect and comfortable. The breakfast was extensive with many options, and all the food was good!

This hotel is very close to the TGV station, you can arrive very late and check in without any problems. The room was clean and the bathroom was very large, with a nice shower and a separate toilet (great, doesn't happen often!) Although we had a room directly at the street, there was no street noise when the window was closed. The air conditioner could be operated without any problems so you could sleep comfortably despite closed window. The breakfast for 12€ was very tasty, there was even frozen yoghurt. Only spreads for bread as cheese or sausage were barely available and the jam was only available from the mini package. The coffee machine, however, upgraded this again, coffee and cocoa tasted excellent. Also the croissant, the lemon cake and the pain au chocolate were delicious. As for the scrambled eggs, they tasted a bit unusual, but not bad! Also the staff was very friendly and helpful. The interior of the hotel was also very appealing.

The bed was a little hard.

Enjoyed how top rated the property was and its hard-working staff in terms of service. The location in a very nice area was peaceful and secure and there were a mall and supermarkets nearby. The restaurant was cheap for dinner, it had light dishes. No reason to complain, the hotel exceeded high expectations.

It had all the expected amenities for a modern hotel in its price range, and the free wifi was very helpful. Good location for access to/from the Avignon TGV station and rental cars there.

Excellent home base for 1 night. Absolutely kind, accommodating people working here.- Very comfy bed, stylish room, nice facilities.- Outstanding food selection on continental breakfast.- Particularly good location to the large shopping centre for breakfast where 12 Euros will buy you so much more, good for visiting Avignon.

Practically situated between TGV station and the city. The bus connecting the two is conveniently stopping in front of the hotel. Personnel extremely friendly even under stress. Nice restaurant.

It's settled very quickly. The location is convenient for those who need the TGV station (for bus rides to the villages of Provence you will have to go to the bus station, which is located near the Central Station). The centre can be reached by bus (the stop is 1 minute from the hotel across the street). The rooms are well cleaned. They give a free try to the signature pillow, which can be bought at the reception.

The hotel rooms are pretty "shabby." Before the first cleaning, it seemed that the room was dirty, or at least no one had cleaned it for a year. There's no refrigerator in the room. We tried to walk to the center - the road is unpleasant - along the highway and the sleeping areas.

Enjoy a continental breakfast, spacious room with a minibar, and a convenient desk area here.

This is a smart recently refurbished hotel.Only yards a way from direct bus into the post office in centre thus making centre easy access without the stress of finding parking.
